Towards the beginning of the Expanded Memories project, the team conducted a collaborative workshop with the RE:Anima joint masters program in LUCA. Students were provided the opportunity for hands-on experimentation with various proto-animation devices, and also direct animation on 16mm film, and other analogue media. Broken down into smaller collaborative teams, the students engaged in project-based learning, which culminated in a pop-up exhibition showcasing their collective achievements.
Here is a short 360° video capture of the workshop's final day. This video features student exhibits, including 3D-printed zoetropes and light-shadow installations.
